Great carry around June 28, 2009 D. Mancuso Not the easiest thing to load pics on, the software is a bit juvenile, but in the end, the little keychain photoviewer is a handy thing to have... takes little space in the pocket, pictures are small, square, but viewable.
have to download updated driver from coby site June 25, 2009 C. Brodeur At first, I was going to return this. The software would not install and the computer did not detect the device. (Using a Vista OS.) I gave it to my sister and asked if it would install on her computer. Instead of using the CD that comes with it, she went to the Coby website and downloaded the most recent drivers (COBYUSA.com). It worked! She, too, has a Vista. I have to say, I was glad to find out that Amazon would have paid for me to send it back, if it had come to that. I gave it 3 stars because the average "digital immigrant" would not know to go to the Coby website for a more recent driver. My sister has a lot of experience fixing computers, so that is why she knew how to get this product to function.
FOR MAC, THIS SUCKS!!! June 10, 2009 Stan Harrison I bought 2 of these for my little girls and found out, after hours on the phone with tech support, that they only work on 80% of the MACS. There is no mention of this on the website and no mention on the product. This is a waste. Don't buy it. It sucks. IT SHOULD GET NO Stars but it won't let me do that.
Too bad it doesn't work June 10, 2009 Specklebang (Las Vegas NV) I did see the other reviews claiming that the viewer would not be recognized by the PC but I figured I was smarter and better looking than all other reviewers. :-).
Nope, this thing doesn't work. Install the software, plug it in, select update, open program, program wants it plugged in, push OK, program closes. I wasted an hour that I could have used to pet the cats and no results. I'm sending it back. Just don't bother.
Do Not Buy June 8, 2009 John Meyers This is a piece of junk. The software is completely inoperable and, once installation failed, the computer fails to recognize the USB connection at all. Three requests to customer service were ignored or unanswered. I'm only thankful that it was so inexpensive as I'd be really honked off if I'd spent more. Time to look for another product.
